As a photographer and certified romantic, I love capturing the natural, authentic moments between people. 

 

I remember the first photo I took of a bride and groom on their wedding day. I was on vacation with my family in Venice in 2012, we were walking across the Rialto Bridge when I noticed these newlyweds looking out at the Grand Canal, and I just knew I had to capture the moment. They never said anything to me, and I never them, but it is still one of my favorite pictures to date. It’s a little blurry, the light could be a bit better, but you can feel how special the moment is. That is the feeling I want to emanate from all photos I take, whether it is a married couple, a couple that has only been together for a short time, or a family building their life together. These moments are fleeting but we can capture them and make them eternal.
